A paused printer queue can accept jobs without sending them. Resume only the correct queue, then check the printer's own screen for a separate error.
Find the pause state
Open Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners, select the exact device and open its queue. Check whether the queue or individual job is paused. Similar queue names are common after reinstalling a printer.
Resume and test
Resume the queue or job using the available Windows controls. Send one small test page; avoid sending multiple duplicates while the state is uncertain. If the queue immediately pauses again, inspect the device for paper, cover or supply messages.
If the queue is managed
Office print servers can pause queues for maintenance. Ask the administrator before changing a shared queue or restarting its spooler. A pause is a queue state, not a reason to buy a cartridge.
