A Chromebook can add a compatible printer from the same network or through a supported USB connection. Start with Google's built-in printer setup.
Add the printer
Connect the Chromebook and printer to the same network. Open the print dialog, choose the printer if it appears, or use the option to add a printer manually and follow the on-screen setup.
If it is missing
Check the printer's current network address and the exact model's Chromebook support. Google's help notes that Bluetooth printing is not supported. Avoid using an unrelated Windows driver package.
After setup
Print a simple page, then test the original document. A document-only failure does not prove the printer connection is broken.
