The safe HP driver path starts on the manufacturer site. This directory link does not prove that a specific OS package exists for every listed model.
Get the right HP download
HP's finder accepts a printer name or product number. Compare the exact result with the label, then check the selected OS and whether the result is a basic driver, full software or the HP app. An app recommendation is not proof that every printer needs a new download.
- Read the complete model label and suffix; if possible, check the product number.
- Open the official finder below and select that exact model.
- Choose the computer's OS version and architecture when the maker asks for them.
- Read what the package actually installs, then use a small test page. Add scan software only if your model supports scanning and you need it.
Find a model before downloading
Our HP model index lists 19 checked identities, with exact names and source links. Only 2 have a distinct model profile here; the other names go through the maker's own finder.
Official sources
These links identify the source and its scope. Check the manufacturer page again before changing a printer setting or buying a part.
