The safe Canon driver path starts on the manufacturer site. This directory link does not prove that a specific OS package exists for every listed model.
Get the right Canon download
On Canon's product support page, select Software & Drivers, then the actual operating system and version before reading the results. Distinguish a print driver from a scan utility. For some PIXMA Mac models, AirPrint is the intended print route.
- Read the complete model label and suffix; if possible, check the product number.
- Open the official finder below and select that exact model.
- Choose the computer's OS version and architecture when the maker asks for them.
- Read what the package actually installs, then use a small test page. Add scan software only if your model supports scanning and you need it.
Find a model before downloading
Our Canon model index lists 31 checked identities, with exact names and source links. Only 3 have a distinct model profile here; the other names go through the maker's own finder.

These links identify the source and its scope. Check the manufacturer page again before changing a printer setting or buying a part.
