Get the right Brother download
Brother's download flow goes through product category, series, model, OS family and OS version. Open the file description before selecting a package. Some Brother Mac models, including the checked HL-L2460DW family, print through AirPrint without a separate Mac printer driver.
- Read the complete model label and suffix; if possible, check the product number.
- Open the official finder below and select that exact model.
- Choose the computer's OS version and architecture when the maker asks for them.
- Read what the package actually installs, then use a small test page. Add scan software only if your model supports scanning and you need it.
